1: What are the different types of genres that you sing in?

Ans: Pop and light ghazal

2: Can you give us details of past singing experiences?

Ans: I have been singing for the past 10 years professionally, my new CD is coming out end of April 2010 and I have always been singing in afghan occasions and gatherings and concerts specially in southern california but i am open to travel to any other countries or states

4: Are you open to the idea of collaborating with other singers of our choice?

Ans: Yes

5: What are your views on royalties of songs that are your original compositions?

Ans: I always give them credit if I ever sing their song, but so far I have not copied anyones songs in my CD

6: Do you write lyrics of your songs?

Ans: I try to write most of my lyrics myself

7: Are you willing to provide back-up vocals to a singer of our choice?

Ans: Yes

8: Are you open to travelling to any location where ever there is a concert?

Ans: Yes

Ans: Since I was a kid I loved afghan music and music instruments and it has been my hobby ever since I was 10 years old

Ans: I love spending time with my family and I enjoy watching and playing basketball, specially Los Angeles Lakers

Ans: Afghanistan

Ans: No

Ans: My family and the love for music

Ans: My dad helps me and I also write my lyrics and I try to do my own composes

17: What has been your biggest challenge as a musician? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?

Ans: biggest challenge is to learn the music the correct way by taking lessons and understating what music is all about, I am still a student of music and I will remain a student.  The challenge for me has been to always be better than what I was a year ago or a month ago.  You cannot just stop learning just because people have accepted you as a good singer.

18: What advice do you have for people who want to become famous Singers like you?

Ans: Like I mentioned in my previous answer, please go to a ustad or take music classes before stepping foot to become a good singer, because hard work will always pay off one day

Ans: I do play basketball to keep in shape because I can’t say no to afghani food , that is the only way to burn some calories
